"Daddy's Special Shirt" is an episode of Pinky Dinky Doo from Season 1. It aired on May 26, 2006. Characters Present[]Synopsis[]"Pinky is trying to get Daddy his special shirt in time for a big meeting. So she flies - on the shirt!" Summary[]Tyler is trying to fold a piece of crumbled up paper into an airplane, but he isn't having luck doing so. Pinky jokingly tells him to give up, but Tyler vows to never give up and to be tenacious. Tyler says that his paper airplane is special. This gives Pinky a story idea about shirts. So the trio goes to the Story Box. The story begins when Mommy reminds Pinky of an important chore, and she must get Daddy's shirt from the cleaners for his meeting. Pinky was dressing up Mr. Guinea Pig as a "Madame Butterfly", although he corrects her with "Mr. Butterfly". Pinky and Guinea Pig race down to Mr. Lintrap's laundromat, but he has a problem. His washing machine is malfunctioning and clothes are not getting clean and are just being thrown out of the machine, which includes Daddy's flower shirt. Because this is a special shirt for his special out-of-town meeting, Pinky is tenacious and she and Mr. Guinea Pig clean it herself. First they put it in bubbly soap water, then they rinse it out. To unwrinkle it, Pinky questions how they should remove the wrinkles: get a big street paver, have an elephant tap dance on top of it, or Mr. Lintrap's steam presser which gets the job done great. The two walk back home, but they start to levitate in the air as a gust of wind blows underneath the shirt. They get back home smoothly. Mommy informs them that because they took too long, Daddy left to catch his airplane. Pinky is still tenacious, so she gets on her scooter to catch up with the plane. Tyler says you can't catch up with a plane on a scooter, although Pinky draws rocket boosters on it, reminding Tyler it is a made up story. However, they are still too late and the plane takes off. Pinky thinks big and gets the solution, and much like earlier, they use the shirt to fly in the sky and catch up with Daddy's plane. When they land, Daddy thanks her for being so tenacious and the three go to the meeting. After it, Daddy says it was the best meeting ever all because of his shirt, and because of a "family sandwich" hug. Pinky says that they should go catch up the plane, but Daddy mentions why need a plane when they can just fly the shirt back home, and that's exactly what happened.
